Duncan Eclectic Academy - Truth Treks & Fact Forays

site menu    Send us your comments, suggestions, and topic ideas! -- cardisms@yahoo.com
This section of the site is where the action will be. Future builds will bring interactive features of self scoring quizzes, scavenger hunts, fascinating features, and a gallery showcasing student work. Who is a student? We all are--that is anyone interested in learning and growing!

Topics will be at our whimsy or those suggested by our visitors. Do you have a nagging question-- something you'd like to learn about or understand better? Or maybe you have some knowledge to share with us! Either way, send us an email.

In the meantime--

  • We went to the Paul Bunyan Show at the beautiful Hocking College in southern Ohio. We learned a lot about lumberjacking, forestry, and giant machines. This spurred an interest in learning more about Paul Bunyan. In the collection, American Tall Tales, by Mary Pope Osborne, Paul is 42 axe-handles high. How long is an axe handle?

  • Ace is a budding inventor. Any inventors or entrepreneurs want to share your experiences and expertise? It'd make a great feature article!

If you have an answer to our question or can direct us to some resources, please write us at cardisms@yahoo.com. We'd also like to hear from you if you have a question or comment for us.

Thanks for sharing our journey!
